Janet Fiore is CEO of
the The Sierra Group, Inc.,
a national consultancy with a mission of reversing the unemployment rate for
people with disabilities in America. Working in all areas surrounding bring
to work, stay and work and return to work, Fiore's firm also sponsors
a web portal that provides employment information to more than 72,000 human
resource and rehabilitation professionals each month.
Sierra Group's award winning services are the result of a diverse staff that delivers customized solutions including their timely Hire Heroes initiative, which places veterans with disabilities into jobs with a growing list of employer partners.
On the national front, Janet Fiore is recognized as an authority on disability practices for business. She has delivered accessible technology training to the GSA; championed legislation that passed the Senate regarding new business incentives; and given testimony to Congress, on three separate occasions. Including, this week's Senate hearing on Protecting the Employment Rights of Those Who Protect the United States.
Fiore led her firm to significant growth and doubling of revenues during her recent battle with breast cancer and bone death.
